Easily accessible yet tucked away, this lovingly restored and discreetly modernised 16th century longhouse stands at the end of a tree-lined driveway. Cleifiog Uchaf and its 30 acres offer charm, character and a link back to the romantic days of the Welsh princes and the Roman conquest of Anglesey.
The delightfully varied rooms are en-suite, individually styled and decorated, featuring flat screen TVs, DVD players, Wi Fi internet access and tea/coffee making facilities. If you can bear to leave the comfort of your room, then why not snuggle up with a book in the library, enjoy a drink while watching the sun set over Holy Island or cast an eye over our work-in-progress renovation of the original Walled Garden?
Our Ballymaloe trained cordon bleu chef provides lavish breakfasts of locally sourced produce, setting you up for the day's activities. more...
The property has its own direct access to the Inland Sea/Anglesey Coastal Path and neighbours on to the National Cycle Route and Holyhead to Chester Cycle Route which runs through the lovely Penrhos Coastal Park with its romantic cove and woodland walks.
