The Moody Goose is an intimate licensed restaurant located in the south west corner of the island of Anglesey and is synonymous with all that is the very best about eating out in Anglesey matching local food with luxury accommodation

Dishes are creative, modern and exciting in concept, they often have a traditional twist associated with Wales' amazing culinary heritage. Great flavours, fine cooking and delicious texture are of paramount importance to our chefs and the genuine quality and seasonal freshness of the ingredients rarely fail to delight those tasting the finished dish

The food in the restaurant truly reflects its location - main ingredients are sourced from the 4-mile radius -
Prime white fish and shellfish from the cold clear waters around our rocky coastline along with delicate Anglesey reared lamb and beef, wild plants, herbs and berries as well as game from the local estates are regular features on the menu

Using the superb local produce available on our doorstep is the basis and inspiration of the food we serve. The use of regional produce is a keynote of French cuisine - but, in Wales too, we have a saying - 'blas y pridd' - taste of the earth. This is what 'the Moody Goose' is about - enjoying the best of what the island can offer, on the island.
